As a fan of platforms, I welcomed the debut of the height-boosting UGG Disquette slippers in Fall 2021 with excitement. If you're familiar with the UGG product line, the Disquette slippers are somewhat like the UGG Funkette slippers, although without the ankle strap. Alternatively, the Disquette is like the Scuffette slipper with a pumped-up streetwear sole.
The Disquette delivers all the comfort that you expect from UGG. Keep reading for an UGG Disquette review with tips on fit, quality, and sizing.
The chestnut colorway pictured below is the most popular.

Appearance and Performance
The Disquette features the classic sheepskin collar, lining, and insole for maximum comfort and a plush feel. The platform gives you an extra inch of height, which I like. The slippers have the Treadlite sole, which makes them suitable to wear indoors and outdoors. Unlike the Scuffette and Coquette slippers, these have outdoor-ready traction and more durability. If you're not used to walking in platforms, these may take an adjustment period.
Fit and Sizing
The UGG Disquette runs slightly small. If you have wide feet or you are between sizes, go up. Like most UGG styles, the sheepskin will flatten with wear and the shoes will stretch up a little bit. If you're going to wear these with socks, I advise going up one size.
UGG came out with a new Disquette style featuring a chopped UGG logo. It's aptly named the Disquette Chopd.
